Treatment process : Thermal valorisation

Thermal valorisation

Pretreatment for thermal valorisation

After sampling and an inspection analysis, the tanker truck is discharged into a day tank if the waste is compliant. The material is then pumped from this tank through rotary sieves. The liquid phase and the suspended non-dissolved particles are separated here. The solvent mix is pumped to the storage tank, which is under excess nitrogen pressure to prevent air emissions. The gaseous nitrogen itself is produced in the processing centre by channeling air through a semi-permeable membrane. Mixing with compatible solvent mixes (waste to waste treatment) takes place in the storage tank so that a substitute fuel can be produced for the cement industry. The solid suspended particles from the rotating sieves are bulked up in a collection bin. The product is used for burning from here.
